About

Behavioral Health Center is a drug and alcohol addiction treatment center that is situated in lovely Greensboro, North Carolina at 700 Walter Reed Drive. Addiction to drugs, alcohol, or any other substance of abuse, can take a toll on the well-being and livelihood of the addict. It's important that these individuals seek professional treatment, guidance, and care in order to safely and successfully beat the addiction. Whether the patient requires inpatient treatment or outpatient treatment, Behavioral Health Center can provide patients with everything they need to beat addiction.

It's very typical for an addict to believe that they can overcome addiction on their own. Although this idea may seem tangible, going cold turkey is unsafe and more than likely will result in a relapse in the very near future. It's imperative that addicts seek the help of Behavioral Health Center as patients will receive quality addiction care and treatment methods at Behavioral Health Center. If addicts do not seek help for drug and alcohol addiction, their future will be unclear. This is because addiction is a degenerative and progressive disease that requires intense, professional treatment in order to conquer.

Behavioral Health Center can provide patients aged 18+ with unique treatment methods along with compassionate care and guidance. The counselors that work with the patient will be by their side every step of the way, helping to ensure their success in recovery. Every addict is able to overcome their addiction if they want it badly enough, but it does take the professional help of Behavioral Health Center in order to get to the level of sustained sobriety.

Through deciphering the core reasons why the patient uses drugs and alcohol as an escape will help counselors to better create a treatment program that works for them. A tailor-made approach to recovery is what patients will receive when they enter Behavioral Health Center and this is believed to be the best way to treat addiction.

If patients are truly ready to overcome their addiction and begin a new happy and content life than they will succeed in recovery. They must be in that mindset, though, in order to achieve lasting sobriety. I went voluntarily to behavioral because of suicidal ideation. Although most of my activity there was in group settings I was impressed by the personal attention I received as well. I had my meds adjusted and was set up with a therapist. It doesn’t feel like prison at all, more like being in a college dorm (with slightly better food). At first it worried me that depressives are thrown together with people there for substance abuse but I didn’t witness any upsetting behavior from anyone. They are very flexible in allowing visitors which helped me a lot. It’s important to remember that it’s not a miracle cure. When you go back to the “real world” you’ll still face the same issues, just hopefully better equipped to deal with them.

So far so good. Very pleasant staff. Very secure Adolescent wing. Just a couple issues. 1. Child/Adolescent visiting hours are 5:30pm to 6:45pm (NOT 7:00 as shown on the Moses Cone website). 2. They don't give you much info on the process of visitation.

Some staff forget where they are and how to treat people but the majority are awesome. If you are honest with them you shouldn't end up back there. Dr.Cobos or however you spell it is an amazing listener and very helpful. Thanks to all who worked memorial day weekend to care for me and everyone in there.

I'm a teenager who's been there twice. here's how it goes... if you want help, you'll get help, and most likely not hate it there. if you want help, but don't accept it, you'll hate it here, and if you don't want help, and don't accept help, you'll hate it here A LOT. this place has a very scheduled process, everyday. this place isn't a prison, and yes if you are a teenager your most likely here against your will, but this is still a chance for you to get help. yes some techs are rude, that's just they way it is. all of the nurses are extremely caring though. also we get a lot of free time, and get to leave our rooms a lot, we get to go outside, and we get to go to the gym, and they also cook their food, its not hospital food. we also get snack time throughout the day, and good snacks too. and yes, sadly we have to go to school for an 1hr 30mins a day, luckily its 5th grade work, so if your in high school, you should be good. anyway this place isn't as bad as the reviews make it seem.
